On July 7th, 1976, Ginger Luke purchased the Kowloon Chinese Restaurant in the Greenwood district. She revamped, remodeled, and renamed it the “Rickshaw” and soon it became one of the most popular neighborhood establishments in Northwest Seattle. Offering delicious Chinese/American food available for dine-in and delivery, great drink specials, and karaoke entertainment, the Rickshaw is the place the be!

Boasting a large variety of Chinese/American dishes, the Rickshaw offers everything from Eggs Benedict to Almond Fried Chicken. The Rickshaw's Mandarin/Thai Chef has also added several special dishes such as Hot Garlic Prawns, Mongolian Beef, Pad Thai, and Spicy Noodle Soup to round out their menu.

With breakfast available every day from 10 am to 3 pm, the Rickshaw is not short on choices. Choose from our great breakfast items, 12 lunch combinations, or select from a variety of American sandwiches and burgers. The Rickshaw is sure to have something to satisfy your craving. In the lounge, happy hour begins at 10am-6pm everyday and the drink specials can't be beat.

Stay after dinner to watch and/or participate in the karaoke entertainment. With its amazing karaoke system, the Rickshaw attracts singers from all over the area. Recently voted one of the "VERY BEST KARAOKE" places in town by Seattle Times readers, the Rickshaw offers karaoke entertainment 7 nights a week from 9pm to 2am.

Ginger makes no secret of her success - her customers always come first. By providing great food at great prices paired with a friendly and helpful staff, the Rickshaw maintains a fiercely loyal clientele. At the Rickshaw, you're treated like family and they aim to provide an upbeat, positive dining experience.
